The Bridges is located on the southeast corner of West Lake Houston Parkway and Will Clayton Parkway. The property is located near several successful master-planned developments including Eagle Springs, Lakeshore, Walden, and Water’s Edge. The Bridges is located in the City of Houston’s extra-territorial jurisdiction, Humble Independent School District, Harris County MUD 494 and in Harris County, Texas. Will Clayton Parkway is the only existing east-west major thoroughfare between FM 1960 and Beltway 8. Will Clayton Parkway connects Bush Intercontinental Airport directly with West Lake Houston Parkway. The property is located near downtown Houston (20 miles), Bush Intercontinental Airport (8 miles), Deerbrook Mall (8 miles), Texas Medical Center (21 miles), and the Galleria (23 miles). The Bridges is located within the Humble Independent School District which is considered one of the top school districts in the Greater Houston area. The newest addition to the Humble ISD is Atascocita High School. Opened in August 2007, the 425,000 square foot facility is located in the southwest corner of Will Clayton Parkway and West Lake Houston Parkway (across West Lake Houston Parkway from The Bridges).
Houston - Houston remains on top as the strongest housing market in the nation. In 2010, Houston led the nation with 18,854 starts. In September 2011, HAR reported that Houston home sales reached an all-time high in average sales price and median price. Year-to-date, Houston’s average annualized monthly employment growth rate was 3.3 percent. Should that pace continue in the second half of 2011, Houston will have added nearly 84,000 jobs this year. As the economy continues to strengthen, demand for single-family residential housing should continue to improve.
Lake Houston - With little attractive land remaining for development on the west side of Lake Houston, undeveloped tracts of land are at a premium. The area’s accessibility, schools, amenities and scenic beauty are driving demand for existing homes and build-sites. Lake front home sites are in very short supply on the preferred west side of Lake Houston.
